Job Description
Commercial Laundry. The Resort has over 300 hotel rooms, a convention center and three restaurants. When the hotel opened this spring, they found the installed domestic water heating system (Four 100-gallon, 240,000 BTU commercial water heaters) supplied only a fraction of what they needed.
Special Circumstances
To meet the project demands, the water heater manufacturer had proposed adding eight 100 gallon, 240,000 BTU commercial gas water heaters (for a total of 12) and four 350-gallon storage tanks. Space considerations aside, piping, wiring and venting would have been a challenge.
