Eden, N.C. – Weil-McLain, a leading North American designer and manufacturer of hydronic comfort heating systems, has donated a new boiler worth $13,000 to the Eden Family YMCA. The new boiler will allow the facility to heat its pool, enabling the YMCA to serve more people throughout the community through various aquatics programs like swim lessons, water fitness, and others.
The original boiler had been in place for more than 50 years before replacement was needed. "We are giving back to the community the best we can," said Luke Moore, Weil-McLain director of operations at the Eden, NC, location. "The Eden Y has been a staple for the community, so we are happy to have the opportunity to donate one of our products to the Y."
"Weil-McLain's generous gift is a game-changer for us," said Jeremy Tesh, executive director of the Eden Family YMCA. "Words cannot describe how grateful we are to Weil-McLain for donating a new boiler to the Y. Due to their generous gift, we are able to continue to serve our community through aquatics programs. Lucas and his team have been wonderful to work with and I'm looking forward to our continued partnership."
The new boiler has been installed at the YMCA, but the facility is still in need of an HVAC boiler to heat the facility in winter. For more than 50 years, the Eden Family YMCA has provided a safe and welcoming environment for people of all ages to learn, grow, and thrive.
"Weil-McLain is committed to supporting the communities where we live and work," said Moore. "We rely heavily on teamwork and that goes for our community as well. We are proud to partner with the Eden Family YMCA to support its mission of strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility."
